Make your donation go further with Gift Aid

Wicked Weather Watch is passionate about letting young people know all about climate change and inspiring them to conserve the vulnerable environments of our planet. But we can only do it with your help.  With no office costs your donation goes directly to helping us work with even more children and schools.  Whether you choose to make a one off donation, give a monthly gift*, organise an event or undertake a personal challenge, every penny counts.

If you are a UK tax-payer Wicked Weather Watch can claim the basic rate of tax (20%) on your donations from HMRC. All we need is a signed Gift Aid Declaration Form.

*Donations are processed by the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) through their secure online facility.

The 2.6 Challenge – saving the UK’s charities!

From Sunday 26th April, people up and down the country will be taking on the 2.6 Challenge.

This can be any activity – from running 2.6 miles to holding an online workout with 26 of your friends, or even doing 26 minutes of relaxing yoga! As long is it involves the numbers 2 and 6, anything goes!

Whatever your age or ability, you can take part. We’re not looking for superheroes. We’re looking for Home Heroes.

Like thousands of other charities across the UK, WWW has been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. We’ve had to stop all our school-based activities – the lions share of our work, reduce staff working hours and anticipate funding being much harder as recession inevitable bites.

But we’re changing the way we do things! We’re developing virtual training for teachers, live Q&As for children and parents, and we’re putting together new, fun resources for home-schooling and use in the classroom by teachers still on the front line.

So please get involved in the 2.6 Challenge and help us to carry on inspiring children, teachers and parents during lockdown!
