It was another fantastic event on the 22nd November 2018, very kindly hosted by Clifton High School.

108 pupils, 4 sessions and a lot of creativity meant that it was a fun-filled day for all.

Pupils heard from the brilliant Prof. Terry Callaghan about his work in the Arctic, and why the region is so important for our climate; learnt about the people of the Arctic, where they live and what they do with Tom Walmsley; hip-hopped their way through an Arctic expedition during which they met polar bears and melting ice among other things with the renowned JukeBox Collective; and Green Up Your Act brought the issues of marine litter, single use plastics and their alternatives to life before giving pupils the chance to do some colourful up-cycling!

All in all it was an Extravaganza of a day and we look forward to the next one!
